life is so...
complex...
jumbled i stumble
surrounded by things
i cannot know
and so i’m vexed
fear enters
and exits as if in a
revolving door
countenance shines
through falling
tears and broken calling
seeking more
of You
grounded, but confused
rooted, yet adrift
i twirl
sometimes joy driven
and sometimes just bemused
life is so...
complex...
broken i’m healing
old and yet made new
wanting what’s coming
walking from what
is past
learning to flex
from all this bending
and yet
grounded, i’m waiting
on You to act
i laugh
sometimes hope driven
and sometimes doubt grating
clinging
to You
is all I know to do
when swirling in this furling
